50/50 (2011) - GOOD MOVIE
50/50 is about the grief going through the process of having cancer.
You're fine at first and then all of a sudden, you're not. Adam is a
perfect citizen. He doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, and he even recycles
yet he finds himself on the wrong side of cancer. He finds out that he
has a rare kind of spinal cancer and his world is turned around just
like that.
The only real problem I had with the film was the
ending. The ending just made the movie, a chronicol of Joeseph Gordon
Levitt's character development, and I felt there needed to be more to
add to it, a bigger picture, a message to reveal a philosophy of death,
but it remained as a character development story.
Overall, 50/50 does an excellent job with a difficult subject.
